Barrel Tasting on the Russian River Wine Country is coming back and better than ever.

The Greenhouse is working over time. We have lots in bloom including many orchids not kept in the greenhouse. Masdevallia coccinea both xanthina and dwarf pink are in bloom, masd. ignea & veitchiana. In the greenhouse my award winning dinema polybulbon 'Golden Gate' is in full bloom and my maxillaria grandiflora 'Bob Hoffman' has four large buds. I can't wait..

The Chicken Coop is filling up again. We've added more pullets (young hens) and the Aracanas are laying beautiful green eggs. Try with ham for a perfect breakfast.

It's winter in the garden and it's dormancy for most plants - but the greenhouse continues to shower us with blooms. Cymbidiums and Cattelyas and dendrochilum wenzellii.
